The Harvester at Eastlciffe in Bournemouth is also horrendous, dirty and a general unkempt appearance! Food was mediocre and the eating area was full of workmen swearing. Noticable lack of staff. Won’t be going to Harvester again, they’ve done with us now!

My sister-in-law booked on Sunday the 27th of November,There was eight and two children, we enjoyed the meal, but we waited for an hour for food , we had our meat and potatoes brought, and then we had to wait for our vegetables, which were a little hard and nearly cold when we received them, it was a shame, we heard good reviews , no one came and asked us if we where ok and was there anything else we wanted, it could be a great place with a little concern. It makes customers feel fine, staff were pleasant , sorry about this , hope you can improve as we would like to come back again.

We stayed at the Cavendish from Nov 1 – 5, 2011. Clean and comfortable. The hospitality and breakfasts were outstanding. The propietors, Tim and Karen, went out of their way to serve us. We highly recommend staying at the Cavendish! El Paso, Texas, USA

We are in the middle of changing our gravy so hopefully it will compliment the roasts even more.

Thanks for the heads up about this establishment. I am going to visit friends in Lulworth in a couple of weeks and will take a trip to Lytchett Matravers (Nearby) and treat them to Sunday roast. Good article.

I agree with this review, the food was excellent and that dessert – one of the best apple crumbles I have had this side of the Atlantic…!
