The main reason for my trip however was to attend the Great Dorset Steam Fair in Tarrant Hinton, and what a sight for the eyes, and surprise to the nostrils it was! All those steam vehicles certainly blacken up the sky with their endless streams of steam, and fill ones head with not only the sound of the steam horns, but also the smell of all that burning coal and the like

Back in my room I took a long hot and rejuvenating shower in my beautifully clean private bathroom, stepping out to wrap myself in deliciously soft, freshly laundered white towels. Then out to the Orchid lounge bar for a quick drink before departing for dinner.

Puerto Banus, Marbella was once a playground for the rich and famous – this has all changed now and it is more frequented by vacationers from all over Europe. I was lucky enough to find the Marrush Lebanese restaurant – in which I dined there twice. There are a few requirements that make a good meal – the food, atmosphere, wine menu, and dinner companion. We did not enjoy our stay at the Hotel Montanus, though we had a splendid time in Bruges, our accommodation at the Hotel Montanus was less than expected. The bed was not the double we were promised but two very uncomfortable beds pushed together

It is not hard to see why the Pand Hotel is described as being romantic. It is small, cozy and decorated with a personal touch that can be attributed to the women who owns it. In some ways it has a very similar feel to the Langtry Manor Hotel in Bournemouth with that romantic and traditional feel.
